Cloud Architect

A global financial institution is looking to hire a well-experienced Cloud Architect who can provide expertise in cloud native, hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions and cloud migrations. This is to support the global financial institution's drive to adopt a Cloud-based enterprise technology infrastructure. This role will have Singapore, regional and global oversight in terms of Cloud solutioning, and will be part of an architecture team that is engaged in defining the technology roadmap of the firm.

Apart from the above, key responsibilities include but would not be limited to:
* Design high quality Cloud architecture to meet business and technical requirements
* Develop cloud migration approaches and develop accelerators or identify and build competency in partner tools
* Collaborate with other technical teams in evaluation of overall infrastructure and technology roadmap and Data Centre strategy
* Engage in activities to drive Cloud Computing expertise internally and externally

To be successful in this role you would need to have:
* At least 10 years of experience in a technical role within a large-scale enterprise organization
* Experience in designing and implementing Cloud native and hybrid Cloud solution projects
* Good knowledge on infrastructure areas involving Storage, Servers, Network etc., and broad knowledge in other areas of Cloud & Infrastructure
* Ideally, a certification in one of the Cloud platforms apart from TOGAF certification (a plus, not a must)
* Strong consultative commercial acumen and able to pick up new trends in technology
