Cyber Security Threat Engineer (Up to VP)

A leading global financial institute is looking to hire a Cyber Security Threat Engineer involved in cyber security threat assessments and mitigation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Taking an active position in seeking new cyber security threats and establishing solutions or processes to stay several steps ahead of new cyber threats
* Assessing vulnerabilities, risks and cyber security threats and their impact to applications
* Evaluating and recommending cyber security technologies and solutions
* Executing or driving security tests based on a pre-defined scope and methodology
* Operating a tools and lab environment

To be successful in this role, one must have:
* Background in malware analysis, intrusion detection and threat intelligence
* Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, OWASP ASVS
* Strong understanding and knowledge of current cyber security trends, threats, solutions and tools
* Working knowledge of security services such as encryption, intrusion detection and prevention architectures, application security and network security
* Adept in manual and automated penetration testing and/or ethical hacking
* Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Objective-C, Java, dotNet, HTML, JSON, Python, Perl
* Relevant certification would be a plus (CREST, OSCP, OSCE, CEH, GIAC)
* Ability to articulate technical points to non-technical audience
