DevOps/Linux System Engineer

Huxley IT is working with an exciting start-up based in Singapore that develops data governance software platform using machine learning algorithms. My client would provide you with opportunities to work closely with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, classify and monitor, as well as work closely with a close knit team of professionals in Singapore.

As devops engineer, you should be lazy in a smart way! Everything should be automated with as little human interaction as possible - you will work closely with developers and handle the company's infrastructure by automating machines maintenance and appliances configuration. You will also be tasked to maintain a good global health of systems, and keep machines up to date while handling user accounts.

Devops job requirement
* System administration - managing linux systems (CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu..)
* Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef..)
* Version control (Git, SVN..)
* Network Management (IP addresses, routes..)
* Global development skills such as Shell scripting (low level) and Python, perl, ruby etc. (high level)

Devops - skills that would be good to have!
* Docker (create containers and manage docker containers)
* Languages such as Java, Scala, C#, C++
* Infrastructure monitoring (Naigos, Icinga, Shinken..)
* Virtualization (vSphere, Openstack, OpenNebula, Eucalyptus, KVM, Qemu..)
* Continuous integration (Bamboo, Jenkins..)
* Massive interest in the security space!
