Enterprise Architect (up to SVP)

A leading global bank with its Asia base here in Singapore is looking to hire an Enterprise Architect (up to SVP). The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the architecture and design of the enterprise systems for the bank.

Responsibilities would include but will not be limited to:
* Design and architect scalable, distributed on-prem and cloud based Services and Applications that integrate across different technologies
* Work closely with software engineering and technical teams to ensure successful roll-out of the solution. Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management
* Define the standard methodology, responsibilities and deliverables that capture the details of every level of architecture
* Ensure ongoing alignment of IT and business strategies and continuously update the Enterprise architecture ensuring it remains current, consistent and feasible
* Research solutions and emerging technologies on the market for particular technical requirements and business needed
* Responsible for a solution is well engineered, operable, maintainable, delivered on schedule and aligns well with enterprise vision

To be successful in this role, one must have:
* At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a large scale enterprise organization with at least 3 years proven hands on capacity in an Enterprise Architect / Systems Architect role
* Knowledge on a broad range of technologies and platforms
* Strong knowledge of Devops and automation, containerization, web services, et al
* Advanced knowledge of enterprise strategies including Infrastructure-as-a-Service,Platform-as-a-Service, Software-as-a-Service, security, network, compute and storage
* Experience defining and implementing strategies to move from on-premise to cloud environments
* Ability to translate complex technical terminology, concepts and issues in terms understandable to technical and non-technical management and staff
* Experience in applying Service-Oriented Architecture to solutions
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
