IB Front Office Assurance Manager

IB Conduct Risk Assurance - Top Bank - Singapore

A well-established and rapidly-growing investment bank in Singapore is seeking a Front Office Conduct Risk Manager to implement and maintain a world-class control framework assurance and conduct risk assurance.

Reporting to the COO, you will belong to the bank's first line of defence. You will be detailed, systematic and fully responsible for the independent evaluation of conduct controls and the effective management of conduct risk. This is a high visibility role that gives you a voice within the senior IB risk and control committees and frequent interactions with the front office senior management.

You will:
* Provide proactive, independent and timely assurance to supervisors and Senior Management over the effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls per local regulations and bank standards
* Investigate issues where they arise
* Testing existing conduct-focused policies and standards as are embedded and understood within the Front Office
* Liaise and present testing requirements and results to relevant senior stakeholders within the Front Office and relevant Risk and Control committees

Does this sound like you?
* Knowledgeable in Markets or Investment Banking processes and products - strong knowledge of vanilla products and awareness of derivatives/exotics
* 7+ years of FI experience , 5+ years of which being spent as an IB FO supervisor, product controller, control tester, operational risk manager, compliance officer or internal auditor
* Strongly understanding key market, credit, and operational risk operating across each asset class
* Excellent communication skills wih proven track record of presentation and report writing
