Network Engineer (up to AVP)

A well-established global bank is looking to expand its existing network engineering team by way of hiring for an experienced Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing a global enterprise network. This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of network technologies, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancing systems.

Other responsibilities include:
* Monitor and evaluate network performance, reliability and scalability
* Troubleshoot and resolve network and security problems as well as provide recommendation for corrective procedures
* Complete network changes in accordance with service level agreements
* Recommend favourable network approaches and expand network systems design
* Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events and minimize operational complexity

To be successful in this role, one must have:
* CCNP required, CCIE desired
* Capable in Layer 3 routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRF
* Experience with VPNs, wireless connectivity, global and local load balancing, multicast
* Hands on experience with multiple Cisco tools and devices
* Understands Ether channel, switching, routing especially dynamic IP routing protocols
