Regional Business Development Manager

ALG has a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Business Development Manager who enjoys working in a target driven sales environment. This role would best suit a sales individual with outstanding communication skills, experience in technical recruitment background and passion for aviation would be highly regarded. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be required to achieve sales KPIs, with the possibility of international travel from time to time. The prime responsibility of the role is to grow ALG's client base across relevant industries by facilitating introductions to new clients, developing long term relationships with clients and effectively managing your client list. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work with the management team in developing and implementing sales plans and business solutions that result in business growth and penetration of new business markets/industries.

Acquire and retain profitable customers at agreed target margin or greater with a high level of customer service and manage the preparation of tenders.

Managing customer portfolio including analysis, problem solving and objection handling.

Growth in new accounts and revenues.

Provide high value, quality recruitment solutions that address the client's strategic business needs which exceed time and quality expectations.

Create, maintain and enhance awareness of ALG's brand, reputation and strengths in the market place.

Leading business development activities with appropriate sales strategies based on thorough awareness of the market trends and potential clients' needs.

Identify and minimise business risks for ALG while entering new markets.

Seek referral business from key contacts and identify new areas of opportunity by expanding on client relationships.

Support the total end to end recruitment process for ALG clients to ensure job orders are filled in a timely manner and compliance to company procedures.

Provide statistical information to Management on business development activities and opportunities; highlighting any potential issues and recommended solutions.


CORE COMPETENCIES

Demonstrated experience in business development and ability to negotiate and secure business.

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

Good knowledge of commercial contracts.

Ability to conduct presentation and respond to enquiries and complaints from customers.

Working knowledge of Information Systems databases and Microsoft Office products.

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and ability to use time management tools.
