Senior Network Engineer (up to VP)

A global financial institution is looking to strengthen their network infrastructure services. In line with that, they are looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer. This is a senior technical position. The Senior Network Engineer will be expected to have demonstrated knowledge of network technologies and experience in leading network project delivery.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
* Set objectives and standards for the deployment and delivery of networking projects involving the infrastructure including inventory tracking, equipment configuration, installation of complex environments, and post-installation testing/support
* Develop and execute standards for design and operational procedures
* Provide input on issues and remediation projects

Qualifications to be successful in this role include:
* Knowledge of wired and wireless network for access, transport, edge and core networks
* A complete understanding of common enterprise WAN and LAN topologies & protocols; QoS & Routing strategies (specifically deep BGP knowledge); comprehensive understanding of Cisco, Riverbed, F5, CheckPoint, BlueCoat and other major industry network vendors' solutions and products, and of network management & monitoring platforms
* Experience in strategic planning of network services, network transformation programs or delivering network solutions
* Knowledge of SDN / NFV concepts and ecosystem 00 SDN controller, ONF, Openstack, VMWare
* Exposure to implementing virtual networking projects with products like Cisco IWAN, SD-WAN
