Senior Windows Engineer

A global financial institution is looking to hire an experienced Senior Windows Systems Engineer who will be providing Windows technical engineering. The Senior Windows Engineer will be doing a full life cycle support of Windows / Wintel systems and will also be involved in setting standards for builds and virtual builds.

The responsibilities include but is not limited to:
* Deploy, support and maintain VMware ESX environment and VMware applications, vCenter, ESXi, SRM, NSX, Horizon View on converged and hyper converged hosting platforms
* Execute troubleshooting, changes, software installs, Active Directory integration, client / server connectivity and other application integrations
* Automation of permissions and directories
* Contributing to administration and engineering of Microsoft Exchange

To qualify for this role, one must have:
* Hands on experience in Windows Systems Engineering and Administration including for Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 2016 including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and AD Group Policy
* Experience with VMware ESX/vSphere versions 5.x and higher, Virtual Center administration and backup / recovery
* Strong Windows server troubleshooting and support skills
* Scripting in PowerShell, command line, Chef, Ansible would be highly preferred
* Relevant certifications would be desired: MCP, MCSE, MCSA
