Technology Risk Manager (AVP / VP)

A premium international bank is looking to hire a Technology Risk Manager who will provide oversight and governance of IT Risk across the bank. This will be part of the IT Risk function of the bank where the incumbent will be looking at technology and information security risk management: threat modelling, assessing control effectiveness, conducting risk assessments, communicating results and monitoring remediation.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
* Evaluating the technology risk of existing and emerging technologies and applications in use across the bank
* Interpret risk and compliance requirements and translate into actionable and sustainable implementations
* Perform regular risk assessments to determine the company's level of residual IT risk
* Provide periodic IT risk updates at governance meetings

To be successful in this role, one must have:
* A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Technology Risk, Risk Management or in Risk Advisory Experience
* Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, et al
* Well-versed in risk assessments, vulnerability management practices, operational risk, IT control environments
* Knowledge of various risk regulations and frameworks particularly in the banking industry
* Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with all levels of an organization, and convey complicated technology and security concepts to both technical and non-technical people
